Executive Director, Jacquie brings nearly a decade of experience in the geriatric
health care management field to Elder Focus, LLC.
Most
recently, she was a geriatric clinical social worker with the Veteran Affairs
Nursing Home Care Unit in Menlo Park, CA. She
received her Masters in Social Work from the University of California at Berkeley
and her
Bachelor of Science
in Human Services
Administration from the College of Notre Dame. Prior
to the VA, Jacquie worked with the Community Services Agency in Mountain View,
CA as a case manager for low income seniors, as a mental health counselor with
Christian Counseling Centers - Fremont, and as an intern in dual diagnosis counseling
at Sequoia Hospital's
Inpatient Psychiatric
Unit in Redwood City, CA.
Jacquie
has done research in managing medications in the geriatric population for the
Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center in Palo Alto and in LPS Conservatorships
among the aging veteran population. She also has over ten years experience in
program and security management for a number of Silicon Valley corporations. Jacquie
is an Advanced Professional member of the National
Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and the National
Association of Social Workers. |
